Swedish Air Force JAS 39 Gripen fighter aircraft has launched a Taurus KEPD 350 cruise missile for the first time. The test was conducted at the Vidsel Test Range in Norrbotten, on August 21. In February 2025, it was announced that the Swedish Air Force was equipping its Saab JAS 39 Gripen multirole fighter jets with Taurus. This long-range cruise missile will introduce a new deep-strike capability for the aircraft and is planned to be operational with the Air Force by 2028.
