This image depicts “Navy One,” specifically a Lockheed S-3B Viking from Sea Control Squadron 35 (VS-35), landing on the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). The event occurred on May 1, 2003, marking the only time in history a U.S. President landed on an aircraft carrier in a fixed-wing aircraft. President George W. Bush used this flight to deliver his “Mission Accomplished” speech on the flight deck.
