A retired Sea Harrier jump jet and Lynx are on an 8,000-mile journey to become centrepieces of a new museum in the Falklands. A retired Sea Harrier (FA2) and Lynx (upgraded to Mk8) helicopter are being transferred to a museum in Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands as the centrepiece of a new exhibition hall. Lynx XZ725 saw action in the 1982 conflict. Flying from HMS Brilliant, she was involved in the sinking of the Argentine submarine ARA Santa Fe. The aircraft will be loaded on a ship at Marchwood for delivery to the Falklands.
