Lockheed Martin has just produced the 1,000th F-35. However, some aircraft are not being delivered, awaiting Tech Refresh-3 (TR-3) hardware and Block 4 software development that won't be completed until mid-2024. For the UK, Block-4 will allow the integration of Meteor and SPEAR-3 weapons.
