Hughes XF-11, a prototype military reconnaissance aircraft designed and flown by Howard Hughes for the United States Army Air Forces. The aircraft never reached full production.

Northrop YB-49, (P1), an experimental flying wing jet bomber developed for the United States Air Force in the late 1940s.It was powered by eight Allison TG-180 turbojet engines, providing a maximum speed of 493 mph. The prototype was a jet-powered development of the earlier propeller-driven Northrop YB-35, (P2). only two prototypes were built, and the program was canceled in 1949, with the remaining aircraft ordered to be dismantled.
