USN airmen arrive in Britain April 1942. RNAS Hattson . Four squadrons of USN aircraft comprising of nine TBD Devastators, nine F4F Wildcats, and twenty-nine SB2U Vindicators arrived at Hatston to co-operate with the FAA. With them came 60 pilots,200 odd radiomen, air gunners and reserves.
