Minot AFB is the only dual-wing nuclear capable base in the Air Force. The host unit, the 5th Bomb Wing, is one of two B-52H Stratofortress bomber bases in the Air Force. The base’s 91st Missile Wing is one of the Air Force’s three operational missile units. The 91st Missile Wing operates, maintains, and secures a fleet of Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles.
